Greenwood Builders UK Ltd was awarded the contract for a renovation at this property in Great Rollright, this entailed a number of alterations to the inside including a reconfiguration of the layout downstairs and relocation of the stair opening complete with the supply & install of a solid oak staircase.
The client had great visions along with Greenwood Builders input and expertise we were able to come up with a combined solution. Supporting structural steels were installed to take the load where existing walls were removed. Greenwood Builders took care of steel calculations supplied by their contracted structural engineer. An existing door opening was made bigger to take a new set of french doors that would open out into the garden at the rear of the property.
The house was completely renovated throughout, the house woodwork was all renewed including new internal oak doors to each room and a new ECOdan Mitsubishi heating system which also ran the newly laid wet underfloor heating downstairs. A new Howdens kitchen was installed with granite worktops complete with a breakfast bar. Electrics and plumbing were all carried out by Greenwood Builders certified contractors. The existing windows were renewed which were handcrafted by our joiners along with the solid oak staircase finished off with black iron spindles which really sets off this spectacular project.
