Greenwood Builders UK Ltd was awarded the contract for a complete renovation and sizeable extension to a property in a village outside of Banbury, Ascot.
The house had been empty for many years prior to starting work so the property was in a tired state. Our first job was to remove the old rotten timber joists & floorboards on the ground floor, this was then followed by internal excavation to allow for the entire ground floor to have a new DPM membrane installed flowed by insulation and concrete.
Works to the side of the property consisted of a 2 storey extension which housed a large lounge area & two bedrooms. This was joined to the house by a walk through where the new stairwell was formed.
Works undertaken by Greenwood Builders included:
- Install new insulated concrete floor
- Draingage
- Renovate existing property retaining existing features inside the property
- Construct two-storey extension to side of the property
- Install new joisted floor
- Install new truss roof
- Re-roof existing property
- All 1st fix & 2nd fix electrics and plumbing carried out by Greenwood Builders
- Replaster existing property through into new extension
- Relocate and install new staircase
- Install new master bathroom and ensuite
- Install new utility
- Rebuild front timber porch
- Render exterior of the extension
- Install new timber windows and doors throughout the property
- Decorate property complete throughout to clients requirements.
